The Optimal River or Creek for your trip

Depending on the flow rate, water temperature, bug activity, pressure and success rate, we will connect you with the best fishing experience.  Here are some of the creeks that we will guide you for your trip.

 

The sections we fish are within 70 miles  (1 1/4 hours) of NYC and 80 miles  (1 1/2 hours) of Philadelphia.

Your guide will let you know the location to meet the day before your trip.

South Branch of the Raritan River

This is a 50 mile tributary to the Raritan River.  We fish from Hackettstown down to Flemington.  This includes a special regulations area.  We find stocked rainbows as well as wild brown trout.

Musconetcong River

This river is a 45 mile long tributary of the Delaware.  This is the largest of the rivers we fish.  We will select the best area, from the headwaters in Hopatcong to the connection to the Delaware in Riegelsville, and include a special regulations area.  We find stocked rainbows, and wild brown trout.

Pohatcong Creek

Pohatcong creek, commonly known as "The Pohat", is a 30 mile long tributary to the Delaware.  We find the best spots from Washington to the town of Pohatcong.  Stocked rainbows are prevalent as well as wild brown trout.

Fishing in New Jersey

Even though we are called "West Jersey Fly Fishing", eastern PA has good opportunity for fishing also.  The Bushkill Creek is a 22 mile tributary to the Delaware.  We find good fishing from Belfast, PA to Easton, PA. including a special regulations area.  This fishery stays cold most of the summer.  There are stocked rainbows, brown, brook and palomino trout.  In addition, there is a decent wild brown population.
